I live in the Chicago suburb of Northlake with my partner and our four-year-old twins. I am studying biological sciences at Triton and Moraine Valley colleges and will be applying to the Biomedical Visualization graduate program at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

From 1995 through 2009 I worked as a professional sea kayak instructor and owned Watertrail Adventures in Madison WI. Below is a video from this past summer of a reenter-and-roll.
